I can’t even begin to express the emotions I felt being able to do this session for my dear friend, Carla, and her husband, Seth.
Carla and I have been friends for 3 amazing years. We met randomly (never random with God – He wanted us to meet, I just know it!!!) waiting in line at the Mac store at Bridgestreet and immediately began talking it up. I found out that she was a photographer, I had a ton of questions because I was looking for a camera to take pictures of my own daughter, Peyton had just turned one, with no ambitions to ever be where I am today with my amazing business. Carla was so sweet and patient and helped me along the way. She even got together with me to show me some great tips on how to take better pictures of my very active child. Once I decided to take the leap into my business, many MANY months and practicing and crying with how difficult things were, she helped me by making me feel at ease and lifting me up when I just didn’t feel that I was good enough to call myself a “photographer”. She’s just amazing and I love her SO much!
When Carla told me that she was expecting their first baby, I just cried with them. This little bundle of joy was wanted so badly and being prayed for even before her little heart was beating. I knew that Carla and Seth would both be wonderful parents so to be asked to come to the hospital the day after Piper made her arrival, oh my, the goosebumps! I’m just so full of joy for both mommy and daddy as well as all of Piper’s grandparents and family. I know she will be thoroughly spoiled and well sought after. Seriously, my heart overflows for them all. I can’t wait to see how lovely sweet Piper grows to be because she’s already such a beautiful little baby.
